Precious Restorations is a family owned business that has been developed over 40 years of combined experience through a Father and Son team, Jack Marble, Sr. and Jack Marble, Jr.
Jack Sr. has been in the antique and curio profession for more than thirty years. He has developed many of his techniques through the necessity of being an Antique dealer and avid collector of art. Jack was able to develop his skills long before the availability of modern products through trial and error. Since then he has acquired a huge knowledge of proper and more advanced techniques developed through science and technology.
Jack Jr. learned the basis of his craft in the early nineties while attending college in the fine arts curriculum for a fine arts degree. It was then that Jack apprenticed under the professional supervision of Donna Curtain and Restoration Unlimited in Camillus, NY. This is when Jack learned many key elements and techniques in the restoration world. Since then Jack has studied sculpture, painting, and many other forms of three dimensional art.
